Jon Asprey

A highly experienced consulting lead with over 25 years’ in the data industry, Jon joined Core Consultants in February 2023 to accelerate the growth and specialisation of the firm. He brings a wealth of domain expertise in Analytics, Data Governance, Data Privacy, Data Quality Management, Data Integration, Customer/Client Data Mastering, and Marketing Automation.

Prior to joining Core, Jon was a Managing Director at FTI Consulting, leading a team of privacy and information governance consultants delivering advisory and technology deployment engagements. He has also held senior consulting lead positions at Promontory (an IBM company), IBM and several enterprise software companies. As a regular speaker at global industry conferences Jon has presented on the topics of data privacy, data governance and data management often related to risk and compliance requirements.

During his career, Jon has worked extensively with financial services firms on data and regulatory matters. He has planned and managed data programmes supporting Data Privacy & GDPR, Dodd-Frank (CCAR), BCBS239, Basel II/III, Solvency II, KYC & Client on-boarding, FATCA, Counterparty/Legal Entity Master and other regulatory requirements in global financial firms.

He loves the mountains and is an avid road cyclist and skier, Jon is also a fan of Bath Rugby and lives in Bath with his wife and 3 children.
